My credit card is not accepted?

Please make sure that you have quoted the credit card number and expiry date correctly. In exceptional cases, it is possible that the credit card firm's service is not available. If this is the case, please repeat the payment process later on.

What is 3-D Secure?

3-D Secure is an internationally recognised security standard supported by a number of credit card issuers (including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and DinersClub), which is used for credit card payments on the internet. The aim of the security standard is to reduce the likelihood of the fraudulent use of cards by third parties.

How does 3-D Secure work?

When you register with your credit card issuer, you specify a password and a security message. After this, every time you make a payment to an online retailer which supports 3-D Secure, your security message will be displayed. This gives you the confidence that the subsequent password authentication is actually being carried out by the card issuer. You will then be asked to enter your password, so that you can be identified as the legitimate cardholder.
