What is 3-D Secure and how does it work?

Published on 3/24/2015 by

3-D Secure is an internationally recognized security standard supported by a number of credit card issuers (including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and DinersClub), which is used for online credit card payments to reduce the likelihood of your card being used for fraudulent causes.

All the online shops on the MCH Group's websites use 3-D Secure as their security standard for credit card payments.

You can obtain more information from your credit card issuer, which will have a detailed explanation of the procedure on its website. You can also register for 3-D Secure on your card issuer's website.
